It took a while, but...

I've been around the world a couple of times or maybe more
I've seen the sights I've had delights, on every foreign shore
But when me mates all ask me the place that I adore
I tell them right away
Give me a home amongst the gum trees
with lots of plum trees, a sheep or two, a kangaroo
A clothes line out the back, verandah out the front,
and a old rocking chair
<...finally I've found my pics again. For all those crazy freaks out there from our tour melbourne-alice>

Queen Charlotte, Marlborough Sounds

Defintely one of my favourite tracks - Queen Charlotte Track at Marlborough Sounds. Very quiet and absolute lovely. Just in case anyone more wants to get married in near future, The Furneaux Lodge would be my recommendation. :)

Poor sheep

My first shorn sheep was probably pretty much confused afterwards. Onewhero_22/4/07_morning.

Wellington-Napier-Onewhero-Auckland

Will leave Wellington by tomorrow and head off to Napier. Hey, Mr Pommes, just one question? Is Pukehoke interesting in terms of V8 car racings? I'm just wondering because I have no idea. I've meet a very nice couple from Onewhero, somewhere in the middle of nowhere, who have invited me to their home. So I'll have a look. :) It could get quite interesting. New Zealand seems to be a place to meet people again and again. Just meet a Swedish girl from Greymouth in the same backpacker here. The last time I've been here I meet a guy from another tour in Australia. And the couple I've meet the first time on the ferry to Wellington and finally stumbled over them in Abel Tasman National Park. So the question is, is New Zealand just so small or are we all going the same way?

Frauenreisehaus Christchurch

The funny thing about staying in a girls backpackers is that there are scales in the bathroom and the only phone is occupied the whole time. Girls... Hm... will hopefully see some boys tomorrow again...

Heading South

Leaving Wellington today, my sore musscles finally stopped aching - Mt Ngauruhoe in Tongariro NP was a little bit high, but fun. Everyone says the South Island is much better than the North Island but I found everything pretty awesome so far. So it's hard to believe that it might get even better? :)

I'm coooooooooooming
,,,,,,,,;;;;;;----------'''''''''''''*
Ready for take off, sitting at Sydney International Airport and looking forward to a new country. I hope it's nice over there. And for anyone else who wants to have a look without flying there directly, here's the link to Tonya's diploma Neu-land. And again thanks for all your tipps. :)

How to get sidetracked...

Sometimes it's just all about decision making and making some longer ways round. I think I've decided not to like people who are not reliable or who don't give a shit or just don't care. It's nice to have friends who care, who are there even on the other side of the world. Even if it is just a small email with some tipps for a country I always wanted to visit. So here we go, new plans, new decisions. I'm flying. To New Zealand. On Wednesday. Yep :)))))))))))
